Can you believe that Thanksgiving is right around the corner? If you have preschool through kindergarten-aged students, then you’ll probably want to check out these Thanksgiving printable puzzles. My kids love them, from ages 3-5!
Free Printable Thanksgiving Letter and Number Puzzles
This preschool freebie is super simple and involves very little prep – basically no prep at all!
You’ll just need this sheet of paper and a pair of scissors.
There are four options for these puzzles; visual prompts with upper/lower case letters, numbers, or blank. If the students are still learning their alphabet, this could be helpful or simply if they need the visual prompt to complete the puzzle.

Improve Visual Motor Skills
While completing puzzles is a basic early math skill, this activity also helps improve visual motor skills and fine motor skills, asl well.
If you’re having your students cut out each strip of paper, they are practicing scissor skills. With each tiny movement your little one is working muscles that they need to develop proper grip, strength, and coordination.
When your students build up fine motor muscles, it becomes easier for them to write, and color!
Although this isn’t a traditional puzzle, they will still be placing the strips of paper in the exact location to perfectly match it up with the image it belongs, a visual motor skill.
