Christmas Classroom Door Decorations

Door decorations are some of my favorite projects around especially when it involves Christmas! I recommend picking your theme and creating a beautiful door your littles will enjoy walking up to everyday.

Christmas themes can be snowy, candyland, candy cane, gingerbread and so much more! Have fun customizing your door and even look for ways to incorporate your students.

Here are some ideas for Christmas Classroom Door Decorations to suit all festive looks.

Christmas Classroom Door Decorations

Adding decorations to your classroom doors are a very special touch. Changing them up with the seasons and holidays will bring fun to learning.

Your students will have a ball with seeing these decorations. Make them silly, sweet, thoughtful or a combination of all of the above! I hope you enjoy finding your inspiration!

The Gingerbread House

Going a bit above and beyond with this full decoration and we love it! If you have the extra space around and above your door, create a whole Gingerbread house for the halls to see!

Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

Gumdrop Buttons

Another Gingerbread house but this theme is totally gumdrops! I love all of the additional details such as the sprinkles, signs and “candy” around the windows.

Try out these Christmas Peppermint Candyland wall decor for any of these decorations. Be sure to stick these onto something to protect your surface. I do not recommend putting them directly on a wall, door, etc.

Working Elves

Adding photos of your classroom will make them giggle everyday they see their special classroom door.

Fire Place Setting

There are Merry ideas all around you. Choose the idea that shines the brightest. Adding words or encouragement, your students photos, and other thoughtful touches will take your Christmas classroom door decorations above and beyond.

If there are additional pieces your students can decorate and add to the door, set that up as a project for them to do. For example, print out elf shaped bodies and allow them to create themselves as an elf.

Enjoy creating your beautiful door! Allow these ideas to inspire you to make the most inclusive, touching and festive door in the entire school. If you want a real bonus tip- create a competition for the best Christmas decorated door throughout the school and put everyone up to the challenge.
