It’s fall and that means it is time to enjoy the outdoors with friends and family. It also means taking in the beautiful colors of the leaves, and enjoying some great food!
Fall is a great time to visit the pumpkin patch, apple orchard, and corn maze. But sometimes it can be hard to keep kids entertained while you’re out in the fresh air!
A scavenger hunt can help solve this problem. To help you plan the perfect day at a farm festival with young kids in tow, we’ve created a free printable interactive scavenger hunt list just for them.
You’ll need some paper, pens, and markers for each child on your team. Download and print off these FREE printables below and head out to your local fall festival.
For the little ones, make sure you tell everyone where they will find each item. They may need some extra help.
You can point out fall colors and items, such as leaves, scarecrows, hay, and pumpkins.
Have them mark off each picture as they see it and also explain the importance and role that each items plays in our fall season. This will help them to learn about new objects and expand their vocabulary.
They will also work on their fine motor skills by using a crayon or marker to put an X over each image or draw a circle around it.
I hope this free printable fall activity brings your children lots of fun this fall at the pumpkin patch!
